(AllHipHop News) A variety of Atlanta Hip-Hop stars are joining together to help improve their community, by helping a local hospital raise $100,000. Hip-Hop mogul Jermaine Dupri, Frank Ski, DJ Drama, Shawty Lo, Chilli from TLC, Bobby Valentino, executives Shanti Das and Kenny Burns, Kandi (Real Housewives of Atlanta/Xscape) and numerous others will launch the Give To Grady campaign tomorrow (September 10th) at 12:30PM. The group will start with mass messaging via Facebook and Twitter, to help raise funds for Grady Hospital, which is the only Level I Trauma Center in Atlanta. The facility relies on donations from the private sector in order to serve the community with state-of-the-art health care for burn and wound care, neurosciences, neonatal intensive care and other medical needs. Fans are being asked to support the G2G campaign by texting “Grady” to 50555 to donate $5 to Grady Hospital, which is one of Atlanta’s oldest healthcare facilities. “We are extraordinarily excited that Atlanta’s entertainment community will join Grady in what may be the only grassroots fund-raising campaign of this kind in the country,” said Grady Health Foundation’s President, Lisa Borders.”Public hospitals are woven into the fabric of our communities and yet rarely does the community come together in this way to support our important work,” Borders continued. “Atlanta is a special place, with special people who are genuinely concerned about each other and the city.”In addition to the viral messages and television ads, the G2G campaign will include a press reception in October, as well as promotional events around the city until the end of December.
