"Barbershop 2: Back in in Business"
is poised to top the box office, after raking $7.7 million dollars on opening
night.
The film, which cost $30 million dollars to make
and also features Eve and Queen Latifah, topped the $6.9 million dollars that
the original took in on opening day.
Estimates predict the film should take in almost
$25 million dollars over the weekend, making it a hit for MGM.
Barbershop 2: Back in Business booted the teen
dance flick "You Got Served" from the #1 position.
The film is predicted to stay in the top five
movies, with estimated sales of almost $3 million dollars.
