(AllHipHop News) Will Beyoncé join Donald Glover and James Earl Jones as part of the cast for the live-action The Lion King remake?
According to Variety, the film’s director, Jon Favreau, is looking to get Bey to be the voice of lioness Nala.
Sources tell the publication Favreau and Walt Disney Studios are willing to accommodate the Grammy-winning singer’s schedule to get her to sign on to the movie.
However, Beyoncé has not officially accepted the part as of yet.
If the currently pregnant global superstar does become a voice actress for The Lion King it would be her first movie role since 2013’s Epic.
The remake of the classic 1994 animated movie will star Glover as Simba and Jones will once again voice Mufasa.
Favreau directed 2016’s commercially and critically successful The Jungle Book remake which was also released via Disney.
