BG, formerly
of Cash Money Records, has launched Chopper City Records. BG, who started his
rap career at the age of 13, has hired Rap Coalition founder Wendy Day and she
is negotiating with a major label for distribution. Day negotiated the original
$30,000,000 deal for Cash Money Records. In addition to his own LP, BG will
release LP’s by younger brother Hakim & duo Gar & Sniper.
In related news, Day is helping BG to launch
a clothing company & has secured a deal for his own line of skateboards.
