Representing the Washington DC and Maryland area,
emerging rap collective, Black Circle will be officially introduced during two
consecutive national tours this Spring 2003 and are readying their debut album,
Armageddon.
The first will feature Black Circle as openers
for The Spring Break Tour featuring former Cash Money Millionaire, Juvenile.
The group will then hit the road on the Art Of
Raw Tour, that features Johnny Blanco and the return of Onyx.
Black Circle consists of Lawrence "Bugsy"
Vereen , Theodore Vereen AKA "Black Talon", Dequane Bogaan AKA ‘Lil
Scoot", and Bemon Bowman AKA ‘Die Slizow’, and Steve Oliver AKA "Lucky".
The group’s debut indie album, Armageddon, features
an appearance from Juvenile.
"As an indie, I have total control of what’s
going down with my project, plus I own all my material." Bugsy said. He
also serves as the albums Executive Producer and is the CEO of Round Table Records.
"Nothing is gonna stand in our way,"
says Bugsy, "We are taking over." He goes on to explain, "We
titled the album "Armageddon" because when it’s our turn…it’s
all over… just like the final conflict between the forces of good and evil."
