Bobby Shmurda's Bail Has Been Withdrawn And He Will Remain In Jail

BOBBY’S NOT COMING HOME ANYTIME SOON.

There was some hope that Bobby Shmurda would be leaving New York’s Rikers Island this week after his $2 million bail was posted last Friday (Jan. 30) by his “management associates.” The bail application was reportedly withdrawn on Wednesday (Feb. 4) and no new hearing is scheduled, according to the special narcotics prosecutor’s office for New York City.

“We’re trying to do a new bond application and are in the process in figuring that out,” said Bobby’s lawyer, Kenneth Montgomery. “We’re hoping to get it done within the next week.”

Montgomery requested a special bail hearing for Feb. 2nd in efforts to have the $2 million reduced, but the hearing request was denied.

The “Hot N—-a” rapper and his GS9 crew were arrested at New York City’s Quad Studios back in December 2014 and were hit with a slew of charges, including conspiracy, attempted murder, murder, reckless endangerment, weapons possession and criminally using drug paraphenalia.

The 20-year-old and his comrades are now facing an additional 32 charges. Their next court date is on Apr. 22nd.
