The First Annual
Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (BHF) is set to debut at the historic Brooklyn Brewery
in June.
Slated to perform
at the historic event are Hip-Hop legends Brand Nubian as well as Little Brother,
Rhymefest and Leela James.
"Our latest
confirmations exactly fit the aesthetic of the festival that we were going for…
soulful music that appeals to all fans of Hip-Hop" said Festival Supervisor
and Room Service Director of Grassroots Marketing Alma Geddy-Romero said.
The BHF will also
highlight an appearance from painter and New York native, Jackson Brown who
will create a live piece the day of the show.
Brand Nubian and
Little Brother along with Allido Records/J-Records’ MC, Rhymefest and Warner
Bros Music recording artists, Leela James will join Jackson Brown, Eyejammie
Fine Arts Gallery, and DJ’s Kon and Amir as participants in the festivities.
A celebration of
Hip-Hop music and culture, the First Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival will take
place in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on June 18th.
