Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci is currently the subject of a manhunt.
The rapper, born Rayshawn Bennett, was involved in a shootout on December 10th, that left one man dead and another man injured in South West Atlanta.
According to reports to reports, the rap star is wanted in connection with the death of a 28-year-old man named James Adams, who was shot in the head. The cops found Andrews dead in the middle of the 900 block of Peeples Street, S.W.
Andrews was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injury. The second victim, a 32-year-old male, was shot in the abdomen and survived.
YFN Lucci, who is an artist on the Think Its A Game imprint, is charged with murder, aggravated assault, participating in street gang activity, and other weapons violations.
According to the APD, two other people have already been charged for their roles in the shooting.
Rav’on Boyd, 23, and Leroy Pitts, 17, were taken into custody in Miami for their roles in the deadly shooting and hit the same charges as YFN Lucci.
The cops are offering up $5,000 for information that leads to the rap star’s arrest.
Just one month ago, YFN Lucci was riding high – literally.
The same day of the shooting (December 10th, 2020), Think Its A Game boss Girvan “Fly” Henry gifted Lucci the first 2021 Maybach SUV in the U.S. – worth $200,000 – to celebrate the success of his flagship artist, who is known for the #1 hit single “Wet. She Got That…” as well as the smash “Key To The Streets” featuring Migos and Trouble.
In May of 2019, YFN Lucci’s life was targeted in a shooting that left his red Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon riddled with bullets. Although Lucci was not driving the car, one of his associates was pushing the luxury whip. The guy was struck two times and survived his injuries.
No one was ever arrested in connection with that shooting.
Then, in June of 2020, gunmen shot up YFN Lucci’s video shoot in Southeast Atlanta. YFN Lucci managed to escape injury since he was not on the set at the time the gunplay erupted at the Martin Street Plaza apartments, but a 15-year-old was shot in the hand and treated at a local hospital for his gunshot wound.
