Brooklyn rapper Red Café was involved in a car accident this past weekend in a snowstorm that left portions of the East coast in a blanket of snow.
According to his label, the accident occurred early Sunday morning as the rapper was driving his BMW.
The rapper was recently released from Long Island College hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and is in stable condition.
“I would like to thank my fans, family and friends for their concern and prayers,” said Red Café in a statement. “I’m a trooper and I will be back to finish my long-awaited debut album [and] doing what I do best for my fans shortly.”
The rapper is still putting the finishing touches on his major-label debut I Got a Story to Tell, which will be released on Capitol Records in
conjunction with Mack 10’s Hoo Bangin’ imprint.
