(AllHipHop News) “I should run a whole blog at this rate. They using my name for clickbait,” raps Cardi B on Offset’s “Clout.” The Bronx-bred entertainer took that sentiment to another level during an Instagram Live broadcast.
Cardi slammed Access Hollywood for using her daughter’s name in what appears to be a misleading headline. The title read: “Cardi B Admits Baby Kulture Calls Someone Else ‘Mommy’ Because She Works So Much.”
The problem? The judge for Netflix’s upcoming Hip Hop competition show Rhythm & Flow claims she never actually said that. The Access Hollywood header caused Cardi to go off on Instagram.
“I don’t play when it comes to my f*cking kid! These motherf*ckers, Access Hollywood, these b*tch-ass n*ggas, motherf*cking ass motherf*ckers, I’m gonna really violate y’all n*ggas right now,” said Cardi. “They asked me a question about me doing different ventures and how have things change when it comes to motherhood. So I gave them like a two-minute answer.”
She continued, “I said, ‘Things have changed because a lot of people expect me to do so many things… So I’m sorry if I take time out my day that I could be five hours in the studio but I spend five hours with my kid. Because I could have somebody babysit my f*cking kid, but it’s a wack feeling when your kid’s not even trying to f*ck with you and trying to call somebody else mommy. That’s why you gotta spend time with your kid.'”
According to Cardi, Access Hollywood edited the video to make it seem like she confessed to neglecting her child. The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker added, “B*tch, That’s not what the f*ck I said! Don’t use my kid for clickbait! Don’t cut sh*t off trying to make me look like I’m a f*ck-ass mom!”
After her IG clip went viral, Cardi B further addressed the situation on Twitter. She wrote, “Ok guys I feel better now. Sorry for the bullsh*t ….whew Chile I haven’t been this mad since WHAT WAS THE REASON?‼️ “
