Cardi B is in Africa for the first time, and her trip is going great.

(AllHipHop News) Cardi B is a global phenomenon, beyond just being a rapper.

With 55.1 million followers on Instagram alone, everything and anything she says will be held against her.

During a recent trip to Lagos, Nigeria to perform at the Livespot X Festival, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper did not hesitate and sharing her first thoughts about the country.

Posting a clip to her Instagram story after arriving overseas on December 5th, she states, “Yerrr we are in m############ Nigeria! No lies, this looks like the Dominican Republic. This looks like DR, straight up.”

She continued to update fans about her trip via social media.

The Grammy-award winning recording artist was itching to get out of her luxurious hotel room, to explore the country and sample the cuisine.

“I don’t want to eat your food, I want to see the real Nigeria. I want to eat real Nigerian food. I want to eat all that fish, all that Jollof rice.”
