(AllHipHop News) Rapper Machine Gun Kelly has postponed three concerts as he continues to recover from a recent chest injury.
Last week, the “Bad Things” hitmaker sparked concerns for his health while performing at the Seminole Casino in Florida on his 27th birthday (April 22), when he began clutching his chest before halting the show and dashing offstage for medical assistance.
He was checked over backstage and returned to finish the show.
The rapper and actor, who has appeared in films such as “Nerve” and “Beyond the Lights,” had previously revealed he had suffered the chest damage while filming his new movie “Captive State,” and now the injury has caused him to postpone his shows in North Dakota, Iowa, and Oklahoma, which were due to take place from Friday (April 28).
The shows have been rescheduled for next month.
“As many of you know I sustained a pretty intense chest injury on a movie set last week,” he wrote on Twitter. “Since then I’ve seen multiple doctors in (an) attempt to speed up my recovery process. I was advised to take one month off to make sure I fully recovered but you know that’s not how I rock…”
While fans wait for Kelly, real name Colson Baker, to return to the stage, the rapper has released new single “Let You Go” from his upcoming album bloom. He also shared a video on Instagram showing him shooting the album’s cover.
“in honor of the new song coming out tonight, here’s some bts (behind the scenes) footage of how we shot the ‘bloom’ album cover,” he tweeted. “just like every song on the album tells a story, every picture does too”.
