(AllHipHop News) Security at Chris Brown’s Los Angeles concert on tonight (May 23) has been beefed up following a bomb blast at Ariana Grande’s gig in England on Monday.
A terror attack on Manchester Arena as Grande fans were leaving the venue claimed the lives of 22 people, including an eight-year-old, and venue bosses at the Forum in Inglewood aren’t taking any chances ahead of Brown’s gig there.
They have increased security measures at the arena and increased the police presence following Monday night’s tragedy in Manchester.
“We are continuing to work closely with local law enforcement to ensure we remain informed of any potential concerns,” a statement from venue officials reads.
At press time there are no credible threats to Los Angeles or its venues.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Theresa May has raised the terrorist threat level in the U.K. to critical following the Grande concert tragedy.
She confirmed officials have triggered an emergency plan to put soldiers into key public locations to support armed police at some upcoming events.
Monday night’s explosion was the worst terror attack in Britain since the suicide bombings on London’s transport network in July, 2005, which cost 52 people their lives.
