(AllHipHop News) Rapper Common is teaming up with The National Symphony Orchestra for a performance in Washington, D.C. this week.
The “Glory” hitmaker will join the orchestra at The Kennedy Center on March 22 for a special concert, which will be streamed free on Tidal, Okayplayer, and the Kennedy Center website for two days.
Common will perform orchestrated versions of his songs from his 2016 album, Black America Again, and other records during the show.
His performance will also be part of the JFKC: A Centennial Celebration of John F. Kennedy in honor of what would have been the late U.S. President’s 100th birthday in May.
Common is not the only rapper to host a concert with the orchestra – Nas and Kendrick Lamar have also performed with the musicians in the past.
