Despite being suspended from NFL play, Adam “Pacman” Jones continues to find ways to occupy his time, as he now enters the world of music.

The controversial football player, who serves as CEO of National Street League Records, is currently preparing to release his forthcoming debut rap album with music producer Spoaty.

The duo, known as the Posterboyz, will release their self-titled debut album in 2008. The project signifies a new beginning for Jones, who plans on translating his success in sports to the music business.

“I am also an entrepreneur; it takes a team player to make plays happen so I am bonding with my staff and recording artists to make this company a success,” Pac Man Jones told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “I went within myself to find a place to release my talents while I filter through my career from all of the things that have taken place around me.”

Jones’ musical pursuits come on the heels of him signing an exclusive contract with Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling.

Fans can catch Jones and his N.S.L. artists on the road during a promotional tour in mid-September.

The outing is slated to make stops in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama as the entertainers host community events and forums at various high schools and universities.

“Looking from the outside in, I have been the example for many to see the poster child if you will; and from that sentiment the ‘Posterboyz’ group name was born.”

The lead single from the Posterboyz debut album is titled “Let it Shine” and is scheduled to be released on Aug. 27.
