Currensy Announces NFT-Only ‘Financial District’ EP For 4/20

New Orleans rapper Curren$y is looking to give some of his fans the chance to celebrate 4/20 with a special NFT. The Jet Life Recording founder is partnering with Bondly Finance to offer special items for the weed smoker’s holiday.

“Jet Life prides itself as being ahead of the game,” says Jet Life Recordings President Mousa Hamdan. “We’re very excited to team up with Bondly and enter into the future of fine art and collectibles.”

Consumers will get the NFT-only EP Financial District with their purchase. Plus, Curren$y is auctioning off a 1-of-1 musically inspired art piece designed by NFT 3D animating graphic artist Kid Eight.

The auction will run for three days with the highest bidder receiving flights and hotel accommodations to attend and meet with Curren$y at a future event. In addition to the one auction piece, the NFT sale also features three NFT tiers.

The three tiers offer the option to purchase:

• the full 7-song EP which includes a 4/20 Smoke Pass, a Curren$y Lowrider NFT, and rare Jet Life Chain NFT that’s only reserved for purchasers of the full EP NF
• scaled-down 5-song selection from the EP where the purchaser will also receive a 4/20 Smoke Pass and a Curren$y Lowrider NFT
• a 4/20 Smoke Pass which gives the purchaser access to participate in the virtual smoke session with Curren$y and Jet Life.

Previously, Bondly worked with R&B/Hip Hop star Tory Lanez to release two records from his Playboy album as NFTs. The Bondly Finance/Jet Life partnership includes an NFT digital storefront for Curren$y’s label. The sale takes place Tuesday, April 20 at 4:20 pm EST at www.jetlifeapparel.com.
