(AllHipHop News) DaBaby was committed to giving his hometown fans a show despite the fact he was unable to make it back to Charlotte. According to the southern rapper, his jet was experiencing “maintenance issues.”
In a series of Instagram Story posts, DaBaby told his followers he was “mad ass hell” for getting stuck in New York City. He also apologized to Charlotte for missing the concert.
Instead of leaving the people inside the Bojangles’ Coliseum disappointed, the 27-year-old Interscope recording artist used his iPhone to entertain the crowd. DaBaby decided to perform via FaceTime with his face displayed on the venue’s screens.
2020 has been a breakout year for the man born Jonathan Kirk. The Baby On Baby album arrived in March and spawned the smash record “Suge.” DaBaby came right back with the chart-topping Kirk in September, and scored two more Top 20 hits with “Intro” and “Bop.”
