J. Cole has been talking about releasing a full-length project as a character named kiLL Edward. It appears the Dreamville Records co-founder is close to dropping something for his fans, perhaps as his alter ego.

According to HipHopDX, Cole posted about forthcoming music on the @killedwardofficial Instagram page. The account’s Instagram Story reportedly shared information about a “special” release expected to arrive before 2021.
“Damn been off for [a while] but ima make sure we end 2020 something special!” read the IG Story statement from @killedwardofficial. The page later added, “Stay tuned hope y’all ready!”
kiLL Edward was listed as a guest feature on “The Cut Off” on J. Cole’s KOD album. Cole also used KOD to tease the release of his next project which is tentatively titled The Fall Off. In July 2020, the North Carolina native dropped the Lewis Street EP which contained the singles “The Climb Back” and “Lion King on Ice.”
