(AllHipHop News) Sean “Diddy” Combs racked up a lot of money between June 1, 2016 and June 1, 2017. According to Forbes, the entertainment mogul made more money than any other music act during that time period.
The publication reports Diddy gained $130 million in pre-tax earnings. That impressive haul was from business income related to the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, a Ciroc vodka deal, and the sale of one-third of the Sean John clothing line for an estimated $70 million.
Beyoncé (#2) and Drake’s (#3) respective placements on the Forbes list were also partially the result of live shows. The Formation World Tour helped Bey earn $105 million, and Drizzy made $94 million mostly from the Boy Meets World Tour.
The Weeknd (#4, $92 million) and Coldplay (#5, $88 million) round out the Top 5 for 2017. Other notable musicians that reached the Top 25 include Bruno Mars (#22, $39 million) and Jay-Z (#19, $42 million).
Last year’s list was led by Taylor Swift’s $170 million. This year, the Pop superstar fell to #17 with $44 million.
