About 3 a.m. this morning (April 25), Diplomat president
Freaky Zeeky was shot and remains in stable condition in a Manhattan hospital.
Another man affiliated with the Dip Set President was fatally wounded in the shooting,
which stemmed from a minor traffic accident.
Jim Jones, CEO of Diplomat Records, verified
Zeke was in stable condition and was hopeful that he would pull through his
injuries.
“Zeke is a soldier. He is still with us,”
Jim Jones told AllHipHop.com. “My man E was a soldier, God bless his soul.”
According to sources, Freaky left from the Bronx,
then traveled to Hot 97 and finally ended up at Central Fly, a club in Chelsea,
Manhattan.
Freaky, real name Ezekiel Jiles, and a man identified
as “E” were involved in an accident with another vehicle.

The incident escalated, according to police,
as the vehicles motored from 21st street until approximately 23rd, when dozens
of rounds were fired. The results of the gunfire was the death of “E”
and the non-fatal wounds sustained by Freaky.
No suspects have been identified and police state
that Freaky has not been as cooperative in the investigation.
In the past, Freaky was shot in a separate, unrelated
incident.
In February, Cam’Ron & The Diplomats were
loosely involved in shooting in Boston. The group was never charged nor legally
implicated in the incident that took place as they promoted their 2-CD set,
Diplomatic Immunity.
