Dizzee Rascal Arrested In Road Rage Incident

International rap star Dizzee Rascal became a victim of his own anger with an arrest on Friday (December 12).   The rapper, born Dylan Mills, was arrested by police on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.   According to reports, the incident stemmed from a “road rage” incident between the 24-year-old rapper and another driver.   During the altercation, which took place around 3:30 p.m. in Sevenoaks Way, Orpington, Kent, Mills allegedly confronted the driver with a baseball bat.   Although the rapper wasn’t identified by name, a police spokesman confirmed that “a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon.”   Dizzee was later released on bail after being held overnight.   He is expected to return to a south London police station later this month.   The incident comes amid recent news of Dizzee Rascal recording new music with house producer Armand Van Helden.    The track, titled “Bonkers,” is expected to appear on Dizzee Rascal’s upcoming fourth album, which is due in stores in 2009.
