DJ Akademiks Claims Nicki Minaj Threatened Him & His Family In His DMs

(AllHipHop News) In August, DJ Akademiks said he would continue to take aim at Nicki Minaj for months. Yesterday, the Everyday Struggle host turned on his camera in order to call out the rapper during a Twitch livestream.

Akademiks claimed Minaj threatened him. He read alleged direct messages from the “Megatron” performer. Ak recalled, “Nicki hit me. She said, ‘When you gonna be in New York?'” He later added, “I told her I’d be back in New York on Monday. Y’all wanna hear Nicki Minaj in my DMs today?”

The veteran YouTuber then suggested that Minaj attempts to play innocent in public but engages in manipulative actions behind the scenes. Akademik’s decision to read her messages to his audience was apparently his way of exposing Nicki Minaj.

“Let me show you who Nicki really is. I just want to show who these motherf*ckers are ’cause this is who they are,” declared Akademiks. “This is Nicki, ‘You been mad since I made a joke about you with Joe [Budden] on my show. The people you rep won’t be able to stop your jaw from getting broken. I know too much about your family for you to be playing with me, you hoe ass rat.'”

Ak reacted to the apparent warning by sending laughing emojis. He also responded by writing, “Your threat is received. We’ll see each other at some point. Take care, babe.”

Plus, Nicki allegedly told Akademiks that her husband, Kenneth Perry, wanted to speak to him in person. Petty has been convicted of attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1994 and first-degree manslaughter of a man in 2006. Ak insisted he will not change his rhetoric or his content despite Minaj’s menacing DMs.

This is not the first time Nicki Minaj has been accused of going after a blogger in direct messages on social media. Last year, Wanna Thompson criticized Minaj’s songs. The rapstress then direct messaged Thompson which included her telling the journalist, “Eat a d**k you hating a** hoe.”

She also recently slammed HipHopDX for comparing her music to Cardi B’s music. According to Akademiks, Nicki is “obsessed” with Cardi’s success and takes issue with people in the industry that show any support for her rival.
