Are DJ Clue & Funkmaster Flex Getting Ready To Battle?

(AllHipHop News) After the success of the much talked about Swizz Beatz vs Just Blaze beat battle, the two super-producers hinted that some of their peers could be next to step up for a face-off.

It appears New York City radio legends DJ Clue and Funkmaster Flex are ramping up the rhetoric about a match up.

A video of Clue talking about the potential battle was posted on his Instagram page.

DJ Clue wrote on IG:

I sat with and watched [Swizz Beatz] & [Kodak Lens] try to amp a competition aka battle while [Fabolous,] [Ryan Lewis,] [Omari Hardwick,] [Emily B] & a few others watched..I told Swizz exactly what I wanted for the situation to happen..the short video above is me tired of talking 45 mins about the same sh*t..send the bag and let’s get to it. They said “Bring your best work Album Cuts & Freestyles “. Shawn Carter & Swizz just called me on 3 way. I’m not bout that talk life when it comes to getting to work. Send the bag..it’s a go

Both Swizz and Flex re-posted the vid on their respective Instagram pages.

Flex added:

IM SO READY!!!!! He don’t want no DJ action at all!!!! I’m ready Date and Time let me f###### know!!!!!!! Hahaha!!! Tell him to bring that Clue Bomb too!!!!!!!

Over the last few days, the veteran beat maker uploaded more pictures of himself with Clue and Fabolous.

“I think [DJ Clue] is about ready,” declared Swizz in one of the captions.

Fab joined in on the promotion writing:
