(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop stars Dj Khaled and Nipsey Hussle have joined an investment syndicate to acquire a famous Los Angeles hotel.
The two artists, in addition with Los Angeles Lakers basketball star Luol Deng, are part of a number of investors working with The Confluent Group CEO David Gross and Donahue Peebles, of real estate investment firm The Peebles Corporation, who are planning to take over ownership of the luxury Viceroy Santa Monica hotel.
“The Viceroy is one of my favorite hotels in the Los Angeles area,” Gross shares in a statement. “It has an incredible location and an understated, cool vibe.
“My partners and I are uniquely capable of repositioning the property as the luxury, boutique hotel with the most dynamic hospitality experience.”
The Viceroy was put up for sale last August by owners at LaSalle Hotel Properties.
