DMX,
who was supposed to be released from an Upstate New York prison
on Tuesday March 6th, was forced to stay in prison the duration
of his sentence, which is 5 more days. DMX was supposed to
get out early for good behavior, but when the Discipline Committee
found out he had been written up four times for behavior problems,
they ordered him to stay until the end of the original jail
term.
DMX responded
to the news by throwing a food tray, which struck and bruised
a correctional officer, resulting in a felony charge of assaulting
a corrections officer. His lawyer, Paul Cambria said "He
vehemently denies assaulting anyone." DMX’s lawyer, Paul
Cambria, told AP. DMX is due back to the Alden Town Court
on March 27th.
