Dub Magazine kicks
off its Dub Magazine Super Series Celebrity Car Show and Concert tour today (April
17th), showcasing some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop, as well as hundreds of
tricked out rides.
Dub Magazine, which showcases thousands of luxury cars a year
between its pages, has enlisted The Game, T.I., Trillville, Fabolous, Twista,
and Clipse to perform at 11 dates between April and October.
"Hip-Hop and car culture go hand in hand," Myles Kovacs,
President of DUB Magazine told AllHipHop.com. " Hip-Hop glamorizes the
car culture and has really made it a sub culture of Hip-Hop. If it wasn’t for
the rappers glamorizing the lifestyle, car culture wouldn’t be what it is today."
Also included will be a live, all day exhibition by DJ crew
The X-ecutioners. MC battles and dance competitions will take place during each
date as well.
In addition to the concerts and talent showcases, customized
vehicles will be showcased, with over 500 SUVs, exotics, luxury cars, and motorcycles.
The DUB Magazine Celebrity Car Show will also debut the “Dropstars
Sport Compact Supershow with hundreds of tricked out sport compact cars.
"We are the ultimate urban automotive experience,”
Kovacs said. “We definitely plan to show fans what car culture is all
about."
Hosting the event will be FHM feature model Vida Guerra, World
Boxing Champion Bernard Hopkins and actor/rapper Nick Cannon.
