A
drama loosely based Eminem
temporarily called "Untitled Detroit Project,"
will begin shooting around Detroit in September. The flick,
which is being produced by Imagine Films, focuses on Eminem
going from local Hip-Hop artist to international recording
star. The movie will be distributed by Universal Studios,
who will open a production office in Detroit in August.
Academy Award
winning director Curtis Hanson, who directed "L.A.
Confidential," amongst other films, has signed on
board.The film could hit theaters as early as next summer,
along with a soundtrack, with at least four new songs
written by Eminem and Dr. Dre.
