, in associationwith Hot 97, The El Patio Night Club, and the Hip-Hop Has Heart
Foundation will be doing a charity event benefiting areas in the
Caribbean that were hit hard by Hurricane George. It is a dinner
and music event, which is being held October 6th at 9:00 PM, will
feature a performance by non other than Fat Joe himself, along
with other Hip-Hop acts. The evening will begin with performances
from such top Latin artists as Oro Solido, Banda Loca, Tito Puente,
Jose Alberto "El Canario," and Tito Nieves before moving
over to the post-dinner hip hop segment. Among the artists confirmed
to appear are Big Punisher and Noreaga (both of whom appear on
"DON CARTAGENA," Joe’s newly released top 10-charting
label debut), as well as Cam’ron, and Peter Gunz & Lord Tariq.
A number of top sports and entertainment figures, along with uptown
community leaders, are also expected to join in support of the
event. If you want to go with ten of your friends, the suggested
donation is $10,000 big ones.A number of tables have already been
reserved by a growing list of corporate donors. Individuals may
reserve single tickets, through donations of $1,000. In addition,
special press conference to help kick off the event is scheduled
for October 5th (11:00 a.m.) at Jimmy’s Bronx Cafe, located at
