Fivio Foreign, a popular drill artist from Brooklyn who’s been making noise on the streets, has just been released after a brief stint in jail.
The “Big Drip” rapper was arrested earlier this week on an alleged domestic violence charge in New Jersey for allegedly striking his pregnant girlfriend.
The rapper took to Twitter to share with his family, friends, and fans a little message about his recent incarceration, clearing up some misconceptions about who he is.
The social media posts were long but important for him to express as many have questioned his character. The primary message was to communicate that he would never hurt or bring danger to the mother of his unborn child — or anyone in his family— noting that his mother would kill him.
The caption noted: “I appreciate y’all support and concerns and prayers… But I ain’t Neva hide nuffin I do or deny who I was. I wud neva hurt or harm any pregnant woman especially not my GF. My mother wud kill me, plus I’m raise’n 2 blacc lil gurls. & Woman do everything for me in my life.”

He further noted on the social media platform that like most relationships, he and his girlfriend have experienced ups and downs.
“In relationships people argue and have disagreements, Whoeva kno is kno we been argue’n we argue & we Weill always argue. It’s juss unfortunate dat I have nosy ass neighbors who can’t mind dey own business. Wasn’t da 1st Tyme and won’t b da last,” the rapper explained.

In his final messages, Fivio drew attention to his personage, pointing to the systemic bias that he is bombarded with because he is a successful Black man.
“Im loud rich blacc and I have a past so people judge but we will get past dis… We get thru everything we go thru. We family.”
