(AllHipHop News) According to reports, George “Lul G” Harris is facing one count of murder in Clark County, Nevada. The former member of the Vallejo-based rap group SOB x RBE is in custody in Fairfield, California.
Lul G was reportedly arrested on September 21 after a warrant was issued, and he is now being held in the Staton Correctional Facility. Bail has not been set as of press time, and no additional information on a court date has been revealed.
A representative for SOB x RBE confirmed with Complex that Lul G has not been a member of the collective since late 2018. He was not part of WAV’s The Drop documentary released in November of 2018. However, earlier this year, SOB x RBE and Hit-Boy released the joint project Family Not a Group with limited contributions from Lul G.
Slimmy B, Yhung T.O., and DaBoii are the official current lineup for SOB x RBE. The original foursome gained national exposure from the track “Paramedic!” off the Kendrick Lamar-curated Black Panther: The Album.
Over the last several years, SOB x RBE released the studio LPs Gangin and Gangin II as well as the EPs Tutuland with Big Money and Roll The Dice with Marshmello. Lul G dropped his solo effort, Yhung N*gga World, in 2017. Additionally, the 20-year-old Def Jam signee appeared on the label’s Undisputed compilation album in 2019.
At one point, Lul G admitted to being on probation as a result of armed robbery and gun charges. He told Fader last year, “It’ll be [a] big opportunity that none of us will probably ever see again in our lives and they’ll just tell me, ‘No.’ Straight up. It’s like, basically, y’all want me to lose my career, so I have nothing, so I’m forced to do stuff that’ll have me stuck in this system.”
