Donald Trump has been publicly castigated for comments he made about Paris, which were largely deemed insensitive. The Donald said from Twitter, “Isn’t it interesting that the tragedy in Paris happened in one of the toughest gun control countries in the world?”
The social network let him have it, but a reclusive singer named Frank Ocean also took exception to the remarks of the presidential hopeful. The entertainer sent a message from Tumblr.
“On the real though Donald Trump. How is it ‘interesting’ that these shootings happened in a country that’s tough on guns? Tell us Don?,” Ocean said. “Because it sounds like that vacuous observation was about giving your NRA-loving constituency a h###### and spinning a tragedy for political gain and I’m thinking maybe using a situation where dozens of innocents have just been murdered in the streets isn’t the best time. No?”
In his rant, Trump stated that if the victims in Paris had guns, they would have had a “fighting chance.”
