Rapper Fredro Starr is readying the release of
his second solo album, Don’t Get Mad, Get Money. Fredro, who appears
in the upcoming film "Torque" with Ice Cube, is also planning a 25
city tour to support the album.
"This album is a lighter Fredro, it’s more
of a party album," Starr said. The first single, "California Girls,"
has already been serviced to radio nationwide.
Of his role in "Torque" with Ice Cube,
Starr described his character as the rebel.
"I’m the young, black, Bobby DeNiro,"
Starr continued. "I always end up playing the bad guy."
In addition to "Torque," Starr is is
working on another movie, "Caught On Tape," and his group Onyx is
working on their next album, titled Triggernometry.
Don’t Get Mad, Get Money hits the streets
on May 20th.
