(AllHipHop News) A man associated with Floyd Mayweather was shot after shooters targeted the boxing superstar in Atlanta early this morning (April 9).
According to cops, Floyd Mayweather and his entourage were returning to the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead, after a night of partying.
The boxer’s three-car caravan was pulling into the hotel when a gunman pulled up beside them in another vehicle and began firing.
All three vehicles sped off in different directions, but the gunman attempted to pursue the cars.
A man in Floyd’s group was struck in the leg during the shooting and cops say the boxer’s vehicle was specifically targeted.
Police do not have any suspects in custody as of press time.
Ironically, before the shooting, Floyd posted a rather somber message to Twitter.
