(AllHipHop News) Rapper Ice Cube popped up on “Real Time with Bill Maher” to scold the late-night talk show host, over racist comments he made during a recent episode.
Cube was among a handful of guests on last night’s show (June 8), to confront Bill Maher for calling himself a “house ni##er” on a recent episode, during an interview with Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse.
Ice Cube chastised Maher from the rip.
“I knew you was going to f##k up sooner or later. Sometimes you sound like a redneck trucker,” Ice Cube snapped.
“When I hear my homies say it, it don’t feel like venom,” said the rapper. “When I hear a white person say it, it’s like a knife.”
“That’s our word now and you can’t have it back,” said the co-founder of N.W.A.
In addition to Ice Cube, Symone Sanders and Michael Eric Dyson also had strong words for the popular late-night comedian.
Dyson even labeled Bill Maher’s use of the slur as an “unconscious reflex of white privilege.”
