Ice Cube Starring In New Thriller About Cleveland Police

(AllHipHop News) Ice Cube will return to the big screen in the upcoming controversial thriller, “Excessive Force.” The entire plot of the movie has yet to be revealed, but reports say the movie centers around the Cleveland Police Department racism and political corruption. The rap star will also serve as executive producer of the flick through his CubeVision production company, which his produced hit movies like “Friday,” “Barbershop,” “Ride Along,” “Straight Outta Compton” and the cult classic, “Janky Promoters” amongst others. “Excessive Force” is scheduled to go into production this fall, and will be directed by Carl Franklin, who has shot TV shows like “Ray Donavan,” and “13 Reasons Why.”
