The 23rd annual Golden
Hoops Tri-State Basketball Classic will be joined this year by celebrity guests
Jae Millz, Rucker Pro Legend Pee Wee Kirkland, former Knicks player Dean Meminger
and Rucker Entertainer’s Basketball Classic Commissioner Greg Marius.
The Tri-State Classic features some of the best high school boys and girl’s ballers,
as well as former Harlem Globetrotters Ron Jackson, Bobby Hunter and former NBA
players Cal Ramsey and Freddie Crawford.
The tourney takes place August 11-14th at Riverbank State Park in Harlem and will
be sponsored by the New York Daily News, Harlem Week Inc., NY’s Hot 97 and Pepsi.
Competing teams include Dame Dash’s Team Roc, Team Brooklyn, the Bronx Gauchos,
the New Jersey Roadrunners, the Kennedy Center and many more.
