EXCLUSIVE: Jake Paul Says He Will “Never Go To The Canvas” In A Fight

Jake Paul

Jake Paul may have a target on his back after he demolished Nate Robinson in the ring…and launched a career in rap at the same time!

Jake Paul may have inadvertently caused some problems for himself after he knocked out Nate Robinson last night in an embarrassing defeat for the NBA star.

Jake Paul and Nate Robinson were on the undercard of the Mike Tyson/Roy Jones Jr exhibition match, which took place last night (November 28th) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

While many people were disappointed with the results of the Tyson/Jones bout, which came to a draw, Jake Paul provided the highlight of the night when he pummeled Nate Robinson into unconsciousness with a vicious uppercut – followed by a devastating right hook.

Unfortunately, Nate Robinson continues to be brutalized by the internet, which remains undefeated – and relentless – in clowning him for getting knocked out in the second round – just as Jake Paul predicted during an interview with AllHipHop.com.

Celebrities like Chris Brown, Jim Jones, Timbaland, and Rick Ross clowned Nate for his stunning loss to the YouTuber.

Now, Jake Paul might be Hip-Hop’s favorite target and the man with the hands to beat.

“After Saturday, the stock of Jake Paul is going up, the price is going up and more people are obviously going to want to fight me because of the platform that I have,” Jake Paul told AllHipHop.com’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur during an exclusive interview.

He’s already got an offer from BlocBoy JB, who challenged the budding rapper to a fight after Nate’s disappointing showing.

“Jake Paul, you gotta see me. You gotta see me after that, I don’t like how you did my boy Nate,” BlocBoy JB said. On my mama, I’m the king n####. You want these (fists) come get these.”

BlocBoy JB may be no slouch with his hands, but Jake Paul has been taking his boxing and his rap careers very seriously.

Jake Paul told AllHipHop.com that he has been training to turn pro for about two years. In fact, Jake Paul has sparred hundreds of times, but he has never been knocked down, or knocked out.

“I’ve never gone to the canvas once in my boxing career ever, in sparring nothing, and I never will,” Jake Paul told AllHipHop.com. “It’s a mindset. I’ve knocked out a lot of sparring partners, knocked down a lot of sparring partners. I sparred like 80 times in the past year to develop myself in the ring. I’ve sparred against also high level pros who beat me in sparring. You can’t get better at the sport if you’re the best person in the room.”

It’s unclear who Jake Paul will fight next, but the odds are it will not be BlocBoy JB. In fact, BlocJB might want to consider withdrawing his challenge and instead of collaborating with Jake Paul, who dropped a new rap video called “Park South Freestyle” on Friday.

Thankfully, Nate Robinson is doing ok. But a few NBA players want a piece of Jake Paul’s ass now too.

“Thank you everyone for all of the well wishes, I’m OK. I appreciate @triller for the opportunity as well as everyone that has backed me during the fight,” Nate Robinson said. “To my coaches, trainers, fans, and teammates, I appreciate all of the time and support you guys put in with me…it wasn’t the outcome that we wanted, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to fight on the biggest stage that there has been.”

But first, Jake Paul has his sights set on his nemesis, and fellow rapper KSI, who fight Jake’s brother Logan twice, with both fights ending in draws. Jake is confident he will demolish KSI in the ring – and on the mic.

“I don’t compare KSI’s music and mine. He’s more of like a ‘Kids Bop’ rapper. He’s never done a song by himself because no one will listen to it. It’s just not good for KSI,” Jake Paul told AllHipHop.com. “I wouldn’t compare us on a musical level at all. I know a lot of people like to because obviously we have this rivalry. But it has different levels. His lyrics are average, his flows are the same every single time. He just sounds like a dying duck on the microphone.”
