Jay-Z is gearing up to headline the United Kingdom’s
biggest urban concert ever.
The Prince’s Trust Urban Music Festival is expected
to draw over 40,000 people on May 8-9.
Jay-Z, who recently went into self-imposed exile
as a recording artist, will appear with other artists such as Alicia Keys, Dizzee
Rascal, Lemar and others.
The concert takes place at the Earl’s Court in
London and will also feature unsigned artists performing, breakdancing, graffiti
lessons and other activities.
The Prince’s Trust was created in 1976 by the
Prince of Wales.
The concert is aimed at improving the lives of
disadvantaged young people in the UK.
