(AllHipHop News) Jay Z’s new company is facing charges that it’s stiffed his employees in a new lawsuit.
JetSmarter, which is a startup backed by Jay Z that offers flyers an Uber like experience on private planes, is being accused of failing to play its employees overtime.
The lawsuit claims the start up regularly for employees to work over 65 hours a week, yet never compensated them with overtime.
As a result, JetSmarter received thousands of hours of free labor, at the comp at the employee’s expense.
The lawsuit claims JetSmarter has violated the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the plaintiffs are suing for back wages and pay.
