(AllHipHop News) Atlanta rap star T.I. continues to be dogged by a lawsuit concerning an alleged unpaid bill for almost $1 million worth of jewelry.
Aydin & Co., which bills itself as a company that caters to celebrities, claims the rapper copped hundreds of thousands of dollars in jewelry from the years 2004-2012.
According to Bossip.com, T.I. had an open account with the company, but stopped paying the bill around 2013, prompting the lawsuit.
For his part, T.I. claims he doesn’t owe Aydin & Co. for any purchases prior to 2011, and that the goods in question were stolen in a 2016 burglary, so the rapper is working with his lawyers to have the case dismissed.
But in the latest legal wrangling, Aydin & Co. is asking a judge to force T.I. to testify about the jewelry and the cash in front of a jury, to sort the matter out.
Aydin & Co. is reportedly seeking a portion of the $775,000 in insurance money the rapper received for the stolen gems.
