During a press conference officially announcing his ownership stake in the team, Jim invited former NFL player Colin Kaepernick to join the Richmond Roughriders. “You know, he didn’t get to play this year in the NFL and in Arena football he can keep his skills up to par, break some records, have some fun,” Jim Jones said during a press conference. Earlier this week, the news broke that Jim Jones is a minority owner of the Richmond Roughriders, which is a team in the American Arena League. According to Jim, he plans to promote the organization in his music, and videos, and during live appearances. This year’s season starts on August 16th, when the Roughriders take on the High County Grizzlies.
