Kanye West Donates Millions To Help Kim Kardashian Reform Prison

Kanye West Donates $1 Million To Kim Kardashian’s Prison Reform Movement

Rap star Kanye West gave Kim Kardashian $1 million for her birthday to use for a good cause.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper turned evangelist Kanye West recently blessed the prison reform movement with a six-figure donation.

Kanye surprised his wife on her 39th birthday yesterday with a $1 million donation to the cause, which is near and dear to her heart.

“I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye [gave] me the most amazing bags,” Kim Kardashian revealed. “But he also donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids…This makes my heart so happy!”

Kim has already earmarked the money to go to for organizations dedicated to prison reform.

Anti-Recidivism Coalition, Buried Alive Project, Cut 50, and the Equal Justice Initiative will divide the million dollars up to help fund their ongoing operations.

Kardashian has become a leading advocate for prison reform and is currently studying for a law degree, so she can better help those who are serving unnecessary time behind bars.

Last year, she successfully lobbied President Donald Trump to pardon grandmother Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence without parole for a non-violent drug offense.

So far, Kim has helped secure the release of almost 20 prisoners.
