(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has made history on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs and Hot Gospel Songs charts by landing all the Top 10 spots on the countdowns.
The rapper’s faith-based album, Jesus Is King, has already topped the Top Christian Albums and Top Gospel Albums charts.
Now seven of the tracks have taken over the top of the relevant singles countdowns, led by new single “Follow God.”
West, whose new album also tops the Billboard 200, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts, becomes the first artist to monopolize the entire Top 10 on both Hot Christian Songs and Hot Gospel Songs, which launched in 2003 and 2005, respectively.
His closest competition was Lecrae, who swept the Hot Gospel Songs Top Five for three weeks in 2014.
“Follow God,” “Closed on Sunday,” “Selah,” “On God,” “Everything We Need,” which features Ty Dolla $ign and Ant Clemons, “God Is,” and “Use This Gospel” make up both top sevens.
Another collaboration with Clemons, “Water,” “Hands On,” and “Jesus Is Lord” round out the Hot Christian Songs top 10, and “Every Hour,” “Water,” and “Hands On” complete the Hot Gospel Songs Top 10.
