(AllHipHop News) Kanye West finally dropped his Jesus Is King album on October 25. Since its release, the LP has been one of the main topics of discussion among music fans. Ye even got an endorsement from Donald Trump Jr.
However, Jesus Is King was met with mixed reviews. Particularly, critics were bothered by what was perceived as cringy lines like “Closed on Sunday, you my Chick-fil-A. You’re my number one, with the lemonade.”
Despite that negative feedback, Ye’s latest body of work is expected to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. He traveled to New York City to promote the project on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The G.O.O.D. Music founder also ran through “Closed On Sunday” on the late-night program. Kanye was joined inside The World Trade Center Transportation Hub’s Oculus by a band and a choir.
