(AllHipHop News) This weekend Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke is sponsoring several Roc 96 pop-up shops around the country.
Biggs is honoring the 20 year anniversary of Jay Z’s debut album Reasonable Doubt.
The events will also be recognition of Jay’s birthday the following day on December 4.
“The birth of Reasonable Doubt and the birth of Jay – we’re gonna celebrate all in one,” Biggs tells AllHipHop.com in a video interview.
In addition, the Roc 96 clothing collection is releasing a “Reasonable Doubt” limited edition line on December 3rd.
There are 14 capsules paying tribute to every track off the 1996 project.
Roc 96’s “Reasonable Doubt” collection was created by Burke, lifestyle specialist Emory “Vegas” Jones, and the Fourth Of November denim brand design team.
“Biggs and I were really excited to play a role in bringing this exclusive collection to our customers who have come to anticipate these limited edition pieces,” said Jones in a statement. “Through the synergy between our numerous brands, we are able to effectively market to consumers an entire lifestyle.”
Biggs added, “Our authenticity and emotional connection with our consumers is what makes these capsule collections so special. Our talented team of designers are channeling new energy, which creates culture beyond the realm of music.”
The Foundation Showroom is spearheading distribution of the line to the 14 specialty stores. Eeach store will carry one exclusive capsule.
Ranging from $25 to $145, the collection features t-shirts, crew necks, hoodies, hats, beanies, and re-printed Reasonable Doubt cassettes.
