Kendrick Lamar Breaks Drake & J. Cole's On-Demand Streaming Songs Chart Record - AllHipHop

Kendrick Lamar Breaks Drake & J. Cole’s On-Demand Streaming Songs Chart Record

KING KENDRICK TAKES OVER ANOTHER BILLBOARD CHART

(AllHipHop News) Besides being the current king of the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts, Kendrick Lamar is also the leader of the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart.

Songs off Lamar’s DAMN album control the top nine spots.

That makes the Compton emcee the first act to have nine concurrent songs in the Top 10.

Previously, Drake and J. Cole were tied for the record with eight tracks.

Drake accomplished that feat in 2016 and earlier this year.

J. Cole managed to occupy eight songs on that chart in 2016.

In addition, Lamar is the only act to have the top 9 records on the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart at the same time.

The TDE representative is just the sixth act to hold the #1 and #2 positions on the charts simultaneously (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea, Meghan Trainor, and Justin Bieber).

“HUMBLE” and “DNA” lead the tally at the moment.
