Footage of Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s final concert before his untimely death was recently sold on EBAY with a final selling price of $100,000, according to the Internet auction site.
Approximately 30 to 40 minutes of ODB’s performance on November 11 at the Aggie Theater in Ft. Collins, Colorado was allegedly filmed two days before the Brooklyn-bred rapper collapsed and died in a Manhattan recording studio.
The EBAY listing claimed that the potential buyer would be purchasing exclusive rights to the footage, which includes ODB falling off the stage, talking to the crowd and performing new songs from his upcoming album Osirus to release January 4, in addition to backstage footage of the rapper.
MTV offered $100,000 for exclusive rights to the footage, the only of its kind, according to the seller.
The video allegedly shows ODB smoking minutes before appearing on stage and then performing in unstable condition, and footage of him traveling back to his motel where he continues to smoke crack, the seller stated in the listing.
The accuracy of the listing is uncertain and based solely on the seller’s statements, though reports have confirmed that the concert took place at said arena on said date.
Recent autopsy reports revealed that ODB died from a lethal combination of cocaine and the prescription painkiller Tramadol, which caused the rapper to have a heart attack.
