Lil Cease pleaded guilty last Thursday to 3rd
degree criminal possession of a weapon and was sentenced to 5 years probation.
Cease originally faced attempted murder charges that stemmed from a shooting
in August of 2001.
Cease, Larceny and bodyguard Suif Jackson were
arrested in connection with the shooting of Michael Goody, 21, outside of a
Brooklyn, New York deli. Cease and Larceny were arrested at La Guardia airport,
while Jackson was Jackson was arrested after police spotted him getting out
of a car that witnesses placed at the scene.
Police found two 9 millimeter handguns in secret
compartments in a car that was registered to Lil Kim. Goody was hit once in
the right leg and was taken to Brooklyn Hospital.
Charges against Larceny are expected to be dismissed
following the sentencing of Cease, while Jackson pleaded guilty to criminal
possession and attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
