Ludacris has teamed up with the company behind “Blue’s Clues,” “Doc McStuffins” and other popular cartoons for kids to launch his own animated series.
The Atlanta rapper is debuting a new cartoon on Netflix called “Karma’s World” with 9 Story Media Group.
A description of the show says the plot of “Karma’s World” centers around an “aspiring musical artist and rapper with big talent and an even bigger heart.”
Karma soon realizes the transformative power of music and sets out on a mission to change the world.
‘I’ve had a lot of accomplishments in my life, but everything that I’ve experienced seems to have led up to this point to where I can leave a legacy for all my daughters,’ Ludacris said in a statement. “Karma’s World is one of those legacies. I hope this series will show kids that there are many ways to overcome difficult situations.”
The show is targeting 6 to 9-year-olds and will explore a variety of important issues, including body positivity, discrimination, self-esteem, and more.
Ludacris is also overseeing the sound design of “Karma’s World” and he’s serving as an executive producer for the show, along with 9 Story Media Group.
Netflix has already ordered 40, 11- minute episodes of “Karma’s World,” which is expected to debut soon.
