Police in North Charleston, South Carolina have
charged a woman with felony filing of a false police report, after she claimed
Luke Campbell forced her to perform various sexual acts against her will in
a nightclub last month.
After an investigation led by Detective Ken Hagge
of the N. Charleston Police Department, it was determined that there was no
evidence to support the woman’s claim and that her report to police was false.
A bond hearing is to be set and the evidence will also be shared with the Office
of Special Investigations for the United States Air Force, as the young woman
is active military in the Air Force branch.
Campbell is pleased with the charges brought
against the woman and that the local police in Charleston fully investigated
the false allegations made to police.
Campbell has always maintained that the evidence
– including his videotaped appearance and witness statements – would prove that
an assault never took place.
Luke Films, Inc. plans to release Luther Campbell’s
Charleston appearance and the girl’s actions on stage, through his website:
www.unclelukesworld.com, by the
end of the week.
